THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF COVID 19 PANDEMIC ON THE SMALL-SCALE BUSINESSES IN MOGADISHU, SOMALIA

This paper focused on the economic impact of COVID-19 pandemic small-scale businesses in Mogadishu, Somalia. The further provided more updates and a comprehensive understanding recent trends how it adversely affected Mogadishu. 50 participated study result has showed that had negatively impacted performance businesses. caused to delay payments liabilities, disrupted its supply, sales debt increased, effected employees’ retentions, expediated cash collections. Despite serious coronavirus effect, most were able maintain their employees although some them planned laid-off due low liquidity but, good thing was created proactive measures cope with similar future shocks built resilience.
